Great product for the price. I purchased two of these premium invention surveillance cameras (the WI-FI version) and the performance surpassed my expectations. The cameras were installed in a house in Nigeria under direct sunlight. Before installation, I charged the batteries for three days, and ever since the installation, the batteries are still in full charge. These premium invention surveillance cameras are working perfectly. The daylight and night visions are incredibly clear and distinct. I have been receiving notifications of both humans and vehicles that the cameras are picking up on a daily basis since I returned to the United States. I also have wired Lorex NVR cameras, fusion series installed. The only difference is that the Lorex NVR wired surveillance cameras come with a 2TB hard drive for local storage while the premium Invention cameras can only use a 128MB storage device that is sold separately. I recommend these premium invention cameras for anyone who cannot avoid the wired NVR surveillance cameras which are relatively more expensive.

After shopping for years for a wildlife/security video camera system but never finding exactly what I was looking for, along came UBox, as the software calls itself. I like that it uses WIFI instead of wires and uses solar to recharge itself. It doesn’t even need full sun to get a good charge. It’s also weatherproof, having been through rain and wind without a problem. I didn’t mount it, rather I move it around the back yard and place it where I think I might pick up the most activity. Later on I’ll probably mount it on an outside wall. So far I’ve caught a fox, a rat, a skunk, a possum and of course MYSELF on video. The setup was easy. No regrets.

Installation is straight forward if you just follow the wizard. However, I would have liked some documentation that explains the hardware. There is a reset switch, which I used to reconnect to my phone after I deleted the device from the app. The reset switch worked. But what is the on/off switch's function? I can only guess you press once to switch on, and maybe you press and hold for 3 seconds to shutdown. To shutdown and restart it, I removed batteries to be certain. I am pleased with my purchase.

Camera works well and is relatively easy to set up. Only complaint is that the instructions don't really follow the actual steps and you need to connect some dots. Video that is given also has different steps then the written instructions, like saying to download a different app for example.

For what turns out to be a very good product the manual is way less than informative. Just simple things like, is it normal for the lights to be on when initially charging? What specs and size are acceptable for the memory card? How do you look at past events? Is it necessary to have a cloud account if a very lage sd card is installed? ven if 3X more information were to included it still wouldn't take a full sheet of paper. You must like keping a large number of people aanswering simple questions. But that takes time, often several days to get an answer. ___ But the answers would eventually come.

I have one camera facing North East and it works great. I have another one facing West and the battery keeps running out as the solar doesn't get enough sun. I have just ordered your V4 to replace this one. I think it would be a better idea to be able to detach all the solar panels from all of your models. In the winter months, you are limited as to which angle the camera is positioned. Otherwise, Your product is great and I will be recommending your product to all my friends and Family. Lastly I have been emailing Wayne quite a few times from support when I was having a few teething problems , and he could have been more helpful.

As a tech enthusiast, I've tried many wireless cameras, but this solar-powered one has blown me away!
